Book by David Vaughn;
Hello! I am David R. Vaughn. I
have served as a United Methodist minister for 26 years. Throughout
these years I have become involved in humorous and sometimes embarrassing
incidents. I have used these
stories in story telling programs and in sermons. My family and friends have
suggested for a long time that
I write these down. Recently I decided to do just this, but as I began to make
notes, I decided to write
a book which will not only contain humorous stories but will include warm
devotions. I also drew from my
experiences in writing devotions that hopefully will bring a smile or a tear,
but will bring you closer to
our Lord who loves us so much.
The completed project is entitled "Amazing Humor - Amazing Grace". The book is
$15, and all the profit
from the sales of my book through PLWP will go to PLWP and its ministries for
Parkinson's Disease persons. I offer the book in this manner because I also am
a Parkinson's patient, and this gives me the opportunity to provide funds for
an organization to which I belong and which has provided friendship,
encouragement, and support for me through my Parkinson journey.
You may purcase the book through me. You are welcome
to contact me in these manners:
